Scriptwriter & Director

Written and directed five full length dramas on the stage.
Written numerous dramas for the Radio and also written short stories and lyrics.
Directed more than 60 dramas on the stage in the Gulf Inspiration and support obtained from the famous Malayalam writers M/s. Uroob, Thikkodian, N.N. Kakkad, Akkitham Vinayan, U.A. Khader and K.A. Kodungallor who were colleagues at All India Radio
Worked with famous music directors like M/s K.Ragavan, M. S. Baburaj and Chidhambaranath

Stage Actor

Acted on stage with famous stage and cine artists such as Balan K.Nair, Kuthiravattom Pappu, Kunjandy, Kunjava, Nilamboor Balan, Kozhikode Abdul Khader (Kerala Zaygal), Nellicode Bhaskaran, Santha Devi and Vilasini.

Organizer & Sportsman

Organized a football team for All India Radio, Calicut (first time in the history of AIR) and participated in the league tournament in 1965.

Prestigious work for Akashavani

• Worked with All India Radio, Calicut, Kerala, India during 1965-1970.

• Visited the Laccadive Islands (9 islands) twice and recorded cultural programs for AIR.
• Important speeches of famous and leading Indian politicians recorded for AIR including that of then Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi and Shri V. K. Krishna Menon.

• Recitals of famous singers recorded for AIR including that of Smt M.S. Subhalakshmi, Smt M. L. Vasanthakumari, Shri Balamuralee Krishna, Shri Saundarajan etc.

Life in the Gulf

Landed in Abu Dhabi in the year of 1970 and joined Abu Dhabi Radio & Television as a Shift Engineer.

Artistic & Cultural activities in the gulf

• Organized the first Malayalam drama competition in the Gulf and actively involved in socio-cultural activities.
• Organized and chaired the Federation of Amateur Associations Abu Dhabi (FAAAD).Coordinated the activities of thirteen active Arts Associations.

Magician

Performed magic shows in many stages in and out of U.A.E.
Shown the magic tricks for children on Abu Dhabi TV for four weekly episodes.

Arabic TV Serials Artist:

In 1977-78, acted in 2 Arabic TV serials, “Ashafaan” and “Thawal Aamer Thamaasa” along with famous Arab artists.

Malayalam TV Serials Artist

Performed various roles in six Malayalam TV serials.

Malayalam film Artist

Performed character roles in eleven Malayalam movies of famous film directors including M/s. Joshi, Padmarajan, I.V. Sasi, Lenin Rajendran, Vinayan and Suresh Unnithan.

Film producer

Producing partner of two Malayalam movies -“Bhagyavan” and “Daivathinte Vikrithikal”
Host

Hosted many well known Malayalam writers such as M/s. S. K. Pottekkad, Punathil Kunjabdullah, Thoppil Bhasy and also a lot of famous politicians, Cine and Stage artists.

Social work in the gulf

Organized a common platform named United NRI Co-ordination Council (UNCC) with the participation of 322 malayalee associations in the U.A.E to fight against the common problems faced by the gulf malayalees.

Activities against Air India’s unjust policies against Gulf Malayalees:
As the chief coordinator of UNCC, conducted meetings all over Emirates, collected more than 150000 signatures through a campaign and presented to the Prime minister of India, against Air India’s unfair and unjust ticket fare in the Gulf – Kerala sector.

Due to the pressure from the gulf malayalees through UNCC, Air India was forced to announce and start the budget airline “Air India Express”

Still coordinating the Associations for common cause and to fight against injustice towards gulf malayalees.

As a Professional Engineer:-

• Worked with All India Radio, Calicut, Kerala since 1965-1970
• Worked with Radio & TV (Emirates Media Incorporated) Abu Dhabi,
U.A.E, as a Senior Engineer since 1970-2004.
• Worked as technical Advisor of Asianet radio-Dubai-U.A.E.
• Worked with the Ministry of Justice & Islamic Affairs, U.A.E as a Senior
Engineer in-charge of Central Athan system of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and
Madeena Zayed.

Projects done: -

• Installed many studios for Radio Abu Dhabi, including the digital studios
for Emarath FM (Arabic) and FM1 & FM2 (English) at API tower, Dubai.
• Installed Digital master Control Room for Abu Dhabi Radio, Abu Dhabi.
• Installed and operated about 3000 mosques under Centralized Adhan
System via satellite.
• Mainly involved in 2007, in the Installation & Commissioning of 5 digital studios, 2 production studios, master control room and the whole broadcast system for Radio1 & Radio2 of Gulf News Broadcasting, Dubai, U.A.E.

Present activity: -

After 33 years of service retired on 31/07/2004 from Radio & TV, Emirates Media Incorporated, Abu Dhabi. U.A.E.
